Yes i have 4 or 5 of them here. They are very light weight but sound big .. or sounds “normal “ so no real surprises. Really hard to describe such subtle qualities but I love’em ! I like bridges of all shapes and sizes. I have several types here but for anything that doesn’t need a weight offset or some other unique requirements I’ll use a KTSIs that a KTS bridge?
If so... is it a good one and in how far would you say it makes a difference to steel , aluminium and brass? (only as far as you have experienced of course. NO GUESSING!)

Miker27607, that's kind of what I was thinking. Probably unlined with side dots. I'll be talking to my guitar shop in the next few days to get and idea of what it might cost.
Have them put the side dots on the points of intonation, not between the "frets".

I have a couple of 70's fretless Precisions and love them, Squier makes a very affordable fretless Precision that gets very good reviews and I personally like it very much. Fretless P is the way to go!

If I may make a suggestion, hunt down a used LTD Vintage 214. You can probably find one for between 2 and 3 hundred and if you don't like it you can easily resell it for that. It's a fantastic Precision fretless clone that sounds as good or better than a MIM. I played one for a couple years and loved it and only sold it when I got my Wendler Fretless. It will save you alot of hassle

I used to struggle with the fretless P idea. But I have to admit, my I play the heck out of my Squier VM fretless. I love it.
Here's a parts bass I've been working on (with some luthier assistance) : It's a Fender (Deluxe Active PJ) body made of okoume, fitted with a Status graphite fretless neck and phenolic fingerboard. Hipshot bridge and hardware, EMG-X PJ pickups. It took some work to get the Status neck properly fitted and adjusted, but now it plays beautifully. It's very resonant acoustically, and the Status neck is great, but I wish it had a more vintage radius. (I believe this one has a radius of 18" -- I didn't research that detail before buying it)
