I played one a few months ago. It was terrible.
Very hard to play and a constant feeling of driving with parking brakes on.
    Tone was all muffled, too.

I happen to think Fretted Rippers are alot better.
I used to own an all black one with Ebony neck.
I wish I didnt have to sell it, Im in the market for another one, all black.

It does look to be in very nice shape but I agree, the price does seem a bit high.

I can't help it but everytime I see a Gibson Ripper I have to think of Krist Novoselic on the Nirvana performance of the 1993 MTV awards where he tossed his black Gibson Ripper into the air and caught it with his head. >_<

  9. I have to agree with Jeff that it looks brand new, and with Ibanks that the price is a little too high for a starting bid. I'd think more like $700.

Plus, where did he get $929 from?

    Unless it's his birthday. ;)

    It does look nice though.

    Sunburst. Mmmmm.

Nope, I have that performance on Video, it was an all black Gibson Ripper and a statement on the Nirvana Gear FAQ page of former Nirvana Roadie Earnie Bayley confirms it.
