Fretless rock bassist ?

I noticed that there's almost no bassist that uses a fretless in rock or metal, why ?
I know that Pearl Jam's bassist used a fretless for the recording of the album Ten, but do you know any other rock bassist that uses a fretless ? I know there are not a lot but I went to a bar and there was a hardcore band playing, and believe it or not, the bassist was using a 6 string fretless and it was super heavy and it rocked !

So, if you know any fretless rock bassist, let me know so I could listen to their stuff !

Here's a couple of my favorites;

Jack Bruce

Boz Burrell

Sean Malone of Aghora and Gordian Knot.

Sean is on the first Aghora album which also features the phenomenal Sean Reinert on drums. It is an amazing album which everybody on TB should check out. :bassist:
Same goes for both of the Gordian Knot albums. Great stuff. His solo album Cortland has some great tunes and playing as well.

Two I haven't seen mentioned include the incomparable Tony Levin (check his website to see a discography that will blow your mind) and the nearly equally incomparable Pino Palladino.

Dissl: I was wondering if Alderete has used FL - any thoughts on which tracks for TMV?
