Fried speakers - SVT 4 pro w/ SVT810e

Just thinking out loud, here.
Maybe the cab had a few blown drivers before the OP acquired it?
Caused him to turn up the amp too much, which in turn blew another driver or two, causing him to turn up the amp even more.
Rinse and repeat until all but one driver was blown.

That would require not actually listening to the sound of the cab. Which sounds like exactly what he must have been doing to end up with multiple blown drivers, because same scenario plays out after he blows the first. Loud idiots blow cabs, but it isn't the loud part that does it.
 
I'm thinking guitar doesn't give you the "early warning" that bass gives you, when overdriving a speaker, such as fart-out. And when one driver lets go, it probably increases the stress on the neighboring driver, like a snowball effect. This may be why most threads about blown drivers seem to be in reference to 4x10 or 8x10 systems.
 
Just to recap? You are running a 4-Pro bridged into an 810, when playing guitar through it you blow speakers?
Has the amp been checked for DC offset both in bridged and dual mono modes? Bridging doubles the voltage swing at the output which is a danger to speaker voice coils.
Has the amp been checked in bridged mode for high frequency stability (self oscillation at higher than human hearing will fry voice coils pretty fast with the voltage swing doubled)?
Has the cab been checked for all drivers being in phase (a wiring error will require excessive input to overcome cancellation from speaker being wired out of phase)?
