For Sale Only, Ristola 5 string. 34 inch scale.

Thinning the heard and this bass is just not getting played. So after much debate, she needs to go. Asking $1800 plus insured shipping. Continental US only. NO trades.

This bass has never been gigged and has only left my smoke-free house a few times. She's in great shape and sounds killer. Currently strung with Flats. I know some folks don't care for flats so I'll throw in a new set of round wound nickels. I'll let you pick from the sets I have.

Comes with a TKL hard case.

Here is the Ristola web page with some more pics and some particulars (John East pre has been replaced with a Demeter 3 band):
Ristola Instruments - Electric Basses, Custom, Exotic, Professional

I can be flexible on payment options but I prefer postal money orders since I can verify them when I receive them and ship immediately. If you want to use Paypal, I will only ship to a verified address. Again, I can be flexible.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the kind words. I didn't want to bump my thread inappropriately but I figured replying immediately after another reply may be OK.

Brian builds beautiful instruments and is also good people.

According to my bathroom scale (0.2 pound granularity) she weighs in at 9 pounds. I weighed it 3 times. Brian's paperwork included with the bass says 9 pounds 8 ounces.

String spacing measured from center of B string to center of E string at bridge is 18.5 mms.

The electronics are Bartolini dual coils with a 3 band Demeter pre. Layout is volume, pickup blend, treble, mid, bass. Blend has a center detente. Frequency knobs are cut and boost with center detente.

Not familiar with Ristola, see the Bartolini p/u and wondering about tone characteristics
compared to other familiar sounds.

She's currently strung up with flats so she sounds P-Bassy. I haven't had rounds on her for a long while so not sure what I'd compare the tone to. If I have time this week, I'll throw some rounds on and record some tracks.
