I bought this bass from TB'er tommix a year or two ago and it's really a great instrument. I have played it a lot but it's still in virtually new condition. It delivers a great vintage jazz bass tone with modern playability. It has a slim, fast neck and very warm sounding Fralin pickups. Passive, simple and quite elegant. It will ship in either the Lakland case (shown) or a new Lakland bag (which ever you prefer).
I would not be considering letting this go if I hadn't recently acquired a John Kallas '66 Fender Jazz Bass replica which now gets all my playing time.
The Lakland totally rocks and is (I believe) the only passive one that was made as part of the limited run at Lakland a few years back.
