Double Bass Full Circle life

An impact on the bridge (like during transport) goes directly into the piezo ceramics and that is not very healthy for the ceramic piezo material.
So, with a lot of care the Full Circle can have a longer life than five years, I think I had mine for three or five years before I sold it back to the guy from whom I bought it used. Still worked as when I got it.
Got the Yamahiko used. Being a little bit more expensive as what I got for the FC and paying the luthier for the modification of the bridge, I‘m more happy with the Yamahiko and I don‘t think I need another adjuster pickup in my life. I also felt the low end being clearer than with the FC.

Fishman was great about fixing (actually, since it was the older model, they tossed it and sent me a new replacement) my Full Circle. $50 plus shipping both ways.

^^^ My experience exactly. My FC was quite old - probably from the first couple years of production. I just got a brand new replacement in the mail. $50 plus shipping. That's some great customer service, if you ask me.
