I was being facisious in that summery. As in, what exactly does a thread about female bandmates have to do with being in a forum titled Bass Humor and Gig Stories ?

I'm kinda with @JIO on this, if I catch his drift correctly. It would be nice to have a greater female presence on TB. I can recall women players who used to post quite frequently who over the last couple of years simply have disappeared. I miss their input.
I don’t have a female in the band I’m in but I have a daughter who has been killing it on drums since she was 9 and had played all the clubs on the sunset strip before she was 14 (chaperoned of course). She now lives in Seattle and plays with a hard core metal band. I am super proud of her!!

In defense of the original idea, not every motive is ulterior. In some cases, people may just be curious to see bands with mixed gender, and perhaps learn more about their stories. I find it an interesting question.
My 18 year old daughter also plays music (she's a singer/guitar player with a band) and is far more talented than me, at least at singing. Rock-nerding with her is such a joy.

I'm not against stories at all, stories are how we pass our experiences and knowledge along.
I am also in favor of more humor than less in our lives - what I was referring specifically to is where a thread that doesn't originate from either ended up. Frankly I've never visited this Bass Humor and Gig Stories forum so I was scratching my head when it was moved here. So be it - to expand upon my introduction, if you have stories related to female bandmates (possibly humorous!) please feel free to extrapolate! (with pics of course!)

Frontwoman, bandleader, booking agent, force of nature. The redhead of Redhead.
i was in a old garage band with a female that traded vocals with the two guitar dudes. It was one of those bands where we spent 6 months rehearsing and played a backyard party and never played again. She was fun and a pretty good singer and super cute. I was of course quite terrible on the bass but as usual killed the outfit -so i win!

Anastasia sometimes sits in with us.
Amanda is our primary female talent.
Sometimes Crystal joins us.
Sometimes Crystal subs for Amanda.
Before she left town sometimes Candy would play fiddle for us.
I've worked with Corrie in her Reba tribute.
Francelle used to be in the band before she moved to Nashville.
I worked for years in Kelly's band. I still sub on occasion in her band.
Another tribute act, Bethany, who does Loretta, Dolly, Reba, Patsy, etc.
Kellye used to be in the band before she started her own.
Brandi and I have also done a few gigs together.
I've worked with Chelsea in her band quite a few times.
Let's not forget Gina and her pickup band.
I'm sure there's more. If I can find them I'll post more.

Kendra is the band leader, vocalist and plays e-cello in Sounds Like Love.
I like the inclusiveness a female brings to the many processes of band life.
She’s a new age hippie by my estimation and one hella cello player.

Yes! I was in the band Bond Girl lead by Cherie Lebow who started it, fronted it singing and playing guitar, and booked most of our gigs until I joined and helped out there.

All the women I've payed with in bands have always been totally cool people. The drama queens have always been dudes!
We had a female vocalist for the Sommernachtsfest gig back in August; there's a few singers at the jam who show up intermittently.
There's a female bassist who's a semi regular. She played my fretless when I brought it, and has some chops.
A female pianist sits in from time to time.
A few months back there was a female horn section.
I enjoy playing with women. It seems to make guitar players pay attention and play a bit more "professional".
