Sadly, some people feel that skin color determines musical talent or ability (and a lot of other things, I'd assume). I'm sure if someone posted a video of a black person playing classical guitar and the comment was made, "Not bad for a black guy," this forum would be on fire right now.

Too bad such sentiment exists, but it does. Personally, I've heard musicians from all walks of life and all ethnicities that are jaw-dropping good on the one hand and brutally bad on the other. Doesn't seem to be a factor as far as I can tell. It's all about what you've been exposed to musically, how many hours a day you practice, and how much innate (non-racially-determined) talent you have.
