I realize I'm once again in the minority here, but expression via MIDI would probably be acceptable, perhaps preferred. But some sort of expression is a want.
true bypass. expression via midi is no problem, all parameters can be controlled via midi. exp via analog/jack is being discussed, space is getting tight
Hi mate, 100% interested. From what I've read it' sounding fantastic. To be honest I'd be very happy with a design like the original but with improvements on reliability etc, as long as all these little things being added don't drive the price up too much! I'd love for the graphics on the pedal to be really similar to the original too with the funky writing, but maybe dark blue instead of red or something.
Do you have any idea when this will be available? Very excited!

If extra features are firmware updates, what about hard sync for oscillators, amplitude modulation (trem like effect) , pitch modulation (vibrato), etc. Ring Mod for sure. Basically, a large Modulation Matrix would open the pedal way up. Envelopes and LFOs to most any destination. Obviously there are limits to the # of Envelopes and LFOs (DSP limits, etc).

the harmonizer is part of the synth sound, but you could disable all osc's in a preset and use just the harmonized voices i guess. as for additional features: i think it's important to first release the pedal. extra features should be firmware upgradeable. if/when these would become available is of course dependant on the devs willingness to work on the code after the release. but there are other scenarios as well. the code could be open-sourced so that everybody could work on it/change it. this is all way in the future... first let's get this pedal out!
Yikes, I'm afraid it's hard to have these threads without dreaming up possible updates, enhancements, addition both reasonable and ridiculous.
That said, I am still taken back by the massive feature set on this thing. I have larger hardware synths on my desk with less features.

I agree Wave Tables, Additive, FM synthesis all would be cool.
To clarify, I wasn't neccesarily meaning for the Harmonizer to be used as a secondary/seperate effect on the normal bass signal just to have a footswitchable on/off. The value With that would be to be able to have a MonoSynth type bassline and then, say on a chorus part, stomp and get a bigger sound. If not, no biggie, that is what a PitchFactor is for.
since you can control preset loading via midi as well it's a matter of assigning two midi switches (on a fcb1010 for example) to two stored presets, one for the normal sound, one with harmonizer... no need for a pitchfactor here
