Another thing to check is that you have scanned pedals. By pressing and holding one of the buttons on the hub.

With this type of setup, it's usually acceptable to have everything run on the same chanel. Use the looper function to switch pedals on and off.

Thanks, I tried that & it does work until you turn everything off then the hub seems to forget what you told it to turn on and off.
Not sure where the issue is!

I've just received an email from the looper manufacturer telling me how to program the looper to send out the commands assigned to each switch on a seperate midi channel, so I'm going to set the FI to Channel 1 & Hub to channel 2 to see if that helps.

its a really complicated way of doing it but it will work. But its way easier to put each pedal in a seperate loop. if the loop isnt on, then it dosent matter what preset the pedal is switched too.

tho only drawback is that if you are using both pedals on the same looper preset, then each one must be on the same midi program. which for me isnt an issue.

is the firmware on the hub and sb2s updated to latest?

That would work but my FI isn't connected to the looper, I run it parallel with an LS2 (so i can blend it with various effects)
I see what you're saying, theres no way to send 2 seperate midi channel commands so I can't do what i want.

Using the same midi channel I can get the Bass OFD & FI to work fine now, its just the aftershock that forgets what i tell it to do.
The aftershock has a 'midi learn' mode for remembering control change commands but it never seems to learn what i tell it.
It will work perfectly when connected to a laptop and running the neuro hub mananger, but as soon as I unplug that and turn off the pedalboard it just forgets.

Again, thanks for your help...I think this will take a lot of trial and error.

Problem updating.... using Victsing usb midi adapter - midi plugs are connected in to out and usb plugged into the usb port on my 2011 macbook pro 17" - power up the pedal holding the two footswitches and wait for blinking red LED - i then go to the menu in the FIEditor and navigate to the Firmware Update - choose the fi122.ldr and click open - the editor shows "Connecting to FI" - and thats it. it sits, and sits and sits..... Am I doing something wrong?

and in case it matters, this is an original run unit with original firmware. thanks :)

two thougths:

1) are the right ports selected in the editor for midi in and out? (can you upload patches?)
2) your midi usb interface does not include a sysex implementation. in that case you will have to get one that works. (you'll find a list on the pandamidi site with compatible devices)

I'm having the same issue as @blubolt although I'm using an M-Audio Uno and a 2015 MacBook Pro. I have the right ports selected but that doesn't make a difference. I've never updated since I bought it January. Any ideas?

this was discussed when the pedal was in the making...physically there is no space for a usb connector on the back, also this would have meant to add another processor for usb communication, which would both have added significant cost.

so you can upload patches (multiples at once) without problems?

Standard 5-PIN MIDI is a much higher priority, IMO, and I'm glad Andras agreed...

I use both an Aftershock and a Manta on my board, and I experienced the same thing you are. I solved it by pressing the "Scan Devices" button after turning my board on. The One series boot up much faster than the older SoundBlox 2 pedals, so the Hub misses them on its initial scan. My Aftershock won't do a thing until I hit that Scan button but after that it's fine.

I believe it works when using the Hub and a PC / Mac because the Hub re-scans when the Hub Manager app opens.
