Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Do those in this thread get first dibs?

This is the most important question.

It seems to me that if you're going to even talk about it here, you ought to tell him that we'd love to be on a purchase list.

Why only 100? Is that like to see if it's worth selling more? Or will that be it for good? Seems like he could sell way more just based on the Muse fan base.

On top of that, as excited as I am for the product, such a limited run makes me worried that either (a) it will be super-expensive and/or (b) it won't have much follow-up support (warranty, editing software, etc.)?

I definitely want this. Price, time frame, and support will all be determining factors in whether I get it though. In my experience, no midi device has ever been released full featured. It's usually after several updates that the kinks are worked out, so I would like to know that the developer is going to listen to our feedback and improve the product after the first 100 units are sold. Price I can deal with, I have a credit card:). Time, I'm patient. I just hope it doesn't get released immediately after a big purchase.

ok, guys just some answers from me, not from the dev. based on the other products he is selling i would not be worried too much about support or more then 100 units if he can sell more. he did the same thing with his other stuff. he is very nice and a "real" dev so he will for sure make updates to the firmware if there are some bugs. also, he did the firmware and all the rest for the old deep impact, so he knows what he is doing.

i will try my best to let you guys know early, about price and release. i don't see why you should not be among the first to buy one :-)
