Greetings all. Long time no speak. I hope everyone is safe and well. I am still working like crazy due to Covid and seems this will be the status quo for the rest of the year. Life has changed for me during there trying times and I have decided to sell a lot of my gear.
If anyone is interested in a Nordy PJ bass in mint condition with a midi FretTraX system installed, I have listed mine in the classifieds. Here is the link.

hey if you need anything just let me know, I just got into streaming and doing youtube videos about a year ago. Super easy to do. Divinci Resolve is free and a pro video editing software, you can do video on your phone, or get a camcorder/dlsr camera, and a LED light or two off amazon for $60 USD.

If you don't have a DAW, Cakewalk by band labs is free to or reaper is $60.00, cakewalk got bought by bandlabs when Gibson filed Chapter 11.

I have a DSLR but don’t have any microphones. I do have Ableton Live Lite. It’s more about the headspace at the moment, I have a lot going on. The idea of doing it with my friend is that he is kitted out better but also the format is intended to be a kind of filmed tutorial where he’ll ask questions throughout, the sort of questions other users would be likely to ask.

Very cool, your DSLR would record audio. You could even use this time to do test runs, you will find when you go to record a video will take you a bit of time to be comfortable with the camera. When you get the video done post a link on here so we can all check it out.

Did you move, delete or rename the last loaded preset? I had the Editor stop working and posted this a little while back:

The reason the FI Editor stopped working is because I moved some of my .pr3 (patch) files to a new folder and in particular the last .pr3 file that was loaded into the FI Editor. The file "settings.ini" (located at: /Users/'Your Name'/Library/Application Support/FIEditor/settings.ini ) has a line starting with "lastfile=" and then the path to the last .pr3 file that was loaded in the FI Editor. Using TextEdit, I opened the "settings.ini" file and updated the path to where the file had been moved. I saved the file and opened FIEditor without any issues.

I suggest keeping all .pr3 files in one place and not loading any downloaded files from the Downloads folder. Move the .pr3 files to your master location before loading them into the FI Editor.

Hopefully this can be helpful to someone in the future.
