I would do it by using a Flexi slot; set source as pitch and destination as the volume of your sub-octave signal, use one of the hard on/off curves and move it until it no longer plays an octave down below your chosen threshold note.

It is very cool.
Put in a couple of blocks.
Pull one down to create path B
Click the circle at the split.
Set spit type to cross
Set hx around 120 to start. It is a shallow sloped filter.
put your efx loop after the spot.

Dat's it!

Ah I had done this for crossovers for only distorting or chorusing highs/mids but never considered using it for tracking purposes with the pitch-shifters! Thanks for the tip!

@MovinTarget if you already have the MC6 and you get the FI with v3.60 firmware already installed, then you can do all the patch management via the MC6 VU using it as a USB interface with your PC. You can also use it to send expression messages to the FI and other MIDI goodness.

I don't have any of this... just starting to look at the synth market... I was originally looking for multiFX but now I see that synth generation is NOT the same as flange/chorus (though you can approximate some of it).

My goal was to not have to lug a ton of gear to noodle with when I travel. At this stage I don't even know how heavily I'd use Synth, Flanger or chorus so I could settle for $30-40 pedals for the latter two, but Synth pedals seem to be more expensive, so much so you could make an argument for an FI or C4 over just an analog Synth pedal...

Those cheap chorus/flange pedals are also small pootprint so makes considering the FI/C4 more palatable since I might be able to ditch my OC-3 Octaver...

The FI can do chorus and flange too.

Hi folks!
Does anyone have the information what is going on with downloads at pandamidi.com. I needed to move to my new PC and I wanted to download FI Editor 3.6 64bit. When I tried to download it from Support — MIDI products by pandaMidi it says that their file server gg.index.hu takes too long to respond. I tried to get PDF manual as well from the same server and I get the same response...
Can anyone send me the installation of FI Editor 3.6 by Google drive, Dropbox or similar...

I just wanted to let you know that my former/current group, Panta Rhei had a great concert last Friday. The original group played from 1975 to 1982, and we reunited in 2017 with two wonderful young musicians replacing those that are missing, one of them my son Daniel who played drums. We played most of our former classical adaptations from Bela Bartok, Khachaturian, and the most important part of the concert was Edvard Grieg’s whole Peer Gynt Suite, with the choir Rotunda. As an encore we played a surprise piece that we learned just two weeks ago for quite actual reasons, Mussorgsky’s Great Gate of Kiev...
We used some of the synthesizers and sequencers what I built in the seventies-eighties, and we used 3 Future Impacts, 3 4Controls, 2 midiBeams, 1 Unibass and 2 wireless guitar synthesizers on stage. All instruments/vocals were mixed on 80 channels, and a recording was done to 64 track digital audio and 9 video cameras. The results will be published as soon as we are ready with mixing the material. Here are some photos of the concert:

I know that I'm late to the party but finally have some fun money to treat myself and very strongly considering adding the FI to my menagerie of sonic mayhem. A cursory reading of the manual and perusal of demo sounds seem to offer significant differences in comparison to my current captive devices* that I'm pleased with and will continue to use.
I like that it can be used with a midi keyboard as that is an option that has been missing from my setup.

Tell me I'm crazy. Or no.
