Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Can someone kindly clue me in on the Harmonizer Block? That section seems missing from the op manual. I am hoping to replace my aging Akai UniBass that I run clean to add my own dirt to as well as using that sound alone as a sort of jazz guitar. I would like to get Akai UniBass type sounds as well as clean Harmonizer sounds I can use to sent to other effects just like the UniBass.

It’s definitely in the manual! Page 40:

the manual is fully keyword searchable.

I had seen that but was hoping to be able to use the Harmonizer as a stand alone block with out that rather dated distortion (a bit over processed sound to my ear).
I had sort of expected to be able to have all the functionality of the Deep Impact and UniBass but enhanced in the Future Impact.

Perhaps that is something that might be considered in a Future Update? @Andras Szalay

what would I do with two units?

Stereo field with slightly altered patches in left and right channels (like classic multi-tracked mono-output synths). Two units with totally different patches on to double the available memory and stacked sounds. Have one hooked up to a sequencer while you trigger the other from your bass. There are lots of possibilities.

Oh yeah, another point for a second...

I could leave my first on my pedalboard, and have the 2nd at my desk for tinkering. Then all I have to do is plug in the one on my pedalboard once to upload any new sounds, rather than pulling #1 on and off my board all the time. A minor inconvenience of course, but kind of a main reason I don't do as much patch programming as I used to. A 2nd would be a nice quality of life thing. I've daydreamed about picking up a second C4 and Stomp for the same reason.

5sg.

I'd have four and have a single pickup for each string and then play polyphonic. But then again I'm nuts
That is a good idea, could be done. But as I showed, we used on our concert last April 3 FIs, one for me on bass, one hooked on a MIDI master keyboard on top of the Hammond organ, and one hooked as an extension of a mini-Moog like analog synthesizer, having a mix of two synths from one keyboard. All three had amazing sounds.

Howdy Folks -
Been using the V3 pedal for almost a year now but this is my first foray into trying to understand MIDI (on any level). Trying to keep things simple at first: I've got the editor downloaded onto the computer, Roland UM-ONE interface driver installed and cables connected properly.

At this time, I can not use the editor to change any of the patches (programs). All I hear is whatever program is on the pedal. Been trying to get to Quatschmacher's programs!! I've downloaded 1 of them from the directory and got it loaded onto the editor (and it shows the parameter changes) but again, I hear no differences, just the program from the pedal.

Also, I'm still on update 3.03 because anytime I try to update the firmware I get an error signal (from both the editor and/or the Chrome webpage).

I'm assuming it's something simple...Anybody have any suggestions? (Go easy...first time Midi user!!)
