Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Just ordered a second unit in the sale. But have not had any response after a week or so. Said they’d be in touch for shipping. Is this normal?
It’s normal, they don’t tend to send out confirmation with tracking (which isn’t ideal as it leaves customers wondering) but they always come through.

We are ready with the first clip of our last concert from 22/04/2022. Three Future Impacts were used on the concert. As our concert approached, we were wondering which piece of music would be a fitting encore to our performance of the Peer Gynt Suite. A few weeks before our concert, a war broke out in one of our neighbouring countries. We chose to express our solidarity with the people of Ukraine with our interpretation of Mussorgsky’s “The Great Gate of Kiev”.

I thought I remember seeing a way to convert the old firmware patches to the new format, but can’t seem to find it now? Did I dream it?
Conversion happens automatically if you load .prg files into an FI running v3.xx firmware. You can then use the Manager to dump the .pr3 files back to your computer.

Or you can simply use the bulk conversion command from the FILE menu in the Editor.

evening guys, is anyone able to help me get a sound similar to the synth sound I got from a markbass super synth here (video linked) around 10 years ago? it was great mixed with overdrive and I need to recreate the sound but im having a headache with the FI editor, makes me want to scream every single day haha

Has anyone had success with cheaper usb/midi connectors from Amazon (or elsewhere for that matter)? I really don't feel like dropping $50+ for a cable. I can always do a free return but thought I'd check here for possible alternatives not listed on Panda Audio site. Thanks.

I use a
Koldot MIDI Cable 5 Pin MIDI to USB Cable MIDI Interface
USA-A to MIDI adapter bought on Amazon with both my computers that work fine. It was $15.

Has anyone tried using a newer MacBook Air (with the M1 chip) to connect to the FI? It only has USB-C connectors. I have a Roland UM-ONE and a USB-C hub with multiple connectors somewhere around here.

Anyone have experience/information on this?
I have tried downloading the app on my MacBook Air (M1) but something is amiss and it will not open.

Here's what I had to do back when the program first came out: "I had to right-click to open the file otherwise I was getting an error message if I just clicked to open."

So you may have do the two-finger and click move on the Mac to get it to open properly or go to System Preferences->Security and Privacy and perhaps in General it will have some place where it will say the file has been downloaded from the internet buy you can Click to Open the File Anyway.

Screenshots of the error help if you can grab them.
