Think he’s in the middle of a house move and was away on holiday so hasn’t been so responsive to messages (business or personal).

The output pot on my FI has gotten wonky. Anyone know the value so I can order a new one?

Thanks!
I am on holiday now, I have no documents with me, but tomorrow I will send you type number for the pots for Newark Electronics (US) and Farnell (UK) with assembly instructions. Where are you located?

Still amazed by Future Impact's usefulness. Last night I dialed in pretty decent Hysteria bass tone on my Helix using a sawtooth on the FI (the same one I use for Time Is Running Out) in an FX loop mixed with a fuzz channel and clean channel. Perhaps not too surprising since I read Chris Wolstenholme used the original Deep Impact pedal at the time.

Just got my Future impact! Was looking at hooking up to the editor and was wondering if anyone uses their HX stomp as the interface for the editor? Also anyone using the stomp to trigger changes etc? Just reading the manual now, and it looks like it inly takes certain interfaces?

Not used Stomp. I use my Morningstar controller as the interface. Works for everything except firmware updates.

Stomp should work fine for MIDI message control, but I'd be surprised if it'll work to speak to the editor or do updates. I use my audio interface for that (Steinberg UR44). Still, no harm in trying!

If it functions as a USB to MIDI interface and has a cross thru option, it could work for uploading and editing patches.

Thats what im confused about the editor as well. What im hoping to do is connect the stomp to my computer via USB and have it act as the interface. Then runinng midi out of FI into midi in of the stomp and midi thru/out of the stomp to midi in of FI. Would that work?

Try it and see. Does Stomp have a cross-thru setting? (You need to be able to pass all data from USB in to DIN out and from DIN in to USB out for everything to work properly.)

Oh wow! Didn't know I could do that. I've been unplugging my MC6Pro from the FI and connecting to my PC using a Roland UM-ONE to do edits, and then reconnecting to the MC6. Would you be able show how you set it up? Thanks!
Turn cross MIDI thru on in the MC6 Pro then configure the MIDI thru as below.

Then select the MC6 Pro as the output and input device in the FI editor.

attach FI to MC6 Pro DIN ports and MC6 Pro to computer via USB.

Thanks! Seems like the MC6Pro doesn't have a Cross Midi Thru setting (I know my MC6II did) unless I'm going blind. Perhaps it doesn't need it. Anyway, I set the other parts up as you described and no joy. I'll play around some more and see if I can get them communicating.
