Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

My beta unit for testing resistance to humidity hasn't arrived yet, Lokki, worry about getting that to me FIRST. THEN you can worry about changing thread titles...

I'm not impressed. That's obviously a Post-Gibson Moog Chainsaw.

Yeah but it's the 3.5, you could never get that much power out of the Pre-Gibson units. Sure they might have better tone, but those pre-Gibson Moog saws don't have the updated carbide teeth profile either. It's like, do you want analog Octaver down or digital POGtave up. They both have their place ...

I am surprised that no has asked for the mother of all bass/synth tones - Teen Town.

Tooooooooo L a T e !

All those teens have grown up.

In fact some of the older ones are already MoogerFooger grandparents and have gone polyphonic with little baby sounds-grandchildren. I think I've got a few of them on my iPad soft-synth.

What with some of them suffering from AlzOberheim's and others having contracted Fairlight CMI samples, gall of Jupiter sTones, breaking out in FM patches from the DX7 virus, or worse – they've got patches coming out of their ARPs. No... There's nothing to Prophet from bringing back TeenTown sounds, even if we could, so better to just Wave goodbuy... Juno what I'm saying?

Tis more like "Geriatric Town" now...

What is that in [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] though?

Lesseeeee...

That'd be 18.31 Barleycorns by 59.06 poppyseeds ... so ...

That makes it about

5.82 Ounces by 3.365 tsun ();

588 Pixels by 24 Krabiat (กระเบียด);

2.034 Handbreadths by 6.259 digits;

46.5 Cuns (市寸) by 0.4101 Ramsden's Link;

5.023e-18 Parsec by 0.09113 Goad.

Sorry, I mixed up some of the measurement units, but the measurements themselves are quite accurate.

Okay, COMPLETELY SERIOUS TL;DR post for all the n00bz:
  • The website for this product is:
  • There is a Facebook page
  • Website says available January 2016, a post on the Facebook page says shipping before Christmas
  • There has been no concrete information about when/how to order
  • Sound clips:

  • Dimensions are 155mm x 125mm, per this post:
  • Pricing info is not listed on the website or Facebook but was posted here:
  • Talk of a "list" on this thread refers to this:
    • deep impact reissue!!! interested?
    • This list was ALWAYS unofficial, and was only started as a way to show Andras how many people were interested. Your presence or lack thereof on the list means nothing with regard to actually ordering a unit. (Although PERHAPS an exception will be made for the list creator? :))

Your thoroughness is awesome and appreciated, and your sarcasm doubly so. So I'm on the list though?

will batches continue if demand continues? or will there just be a few limited runs? getting that much spare cash is hard for most folk during these trying times. :cool:

You can always open up your own taco stand

i can't see this here. maybe because i'm not a supporting member or anything?

sorry @lokki i forgot, it might not even be there anymore since its been some time ago when this thread started. if it's still there, it would've looked like this:

edittitle.jpg

however i could start a new thread :)

In any case, nix starting a new thread. As mentioned earlier, someone will probably start an owner inspired club thread after these things ship out....Which brings me to my question, As far the FI I, will they be individually numbered, if so those numbers should correlate to future club numbers too =)

I'd wager that the creator of the pedal enjoys monetary income. The FI doesn't use any rare or hard to source components. There isn't any reason why they can't make as many as the market demands.
