I've always wanted a musical tattoo, but something totally unique. Fuzzrocious has turned my tones into something I am beyond happy with and also ended my search for fuzz, dirt, od and distortion.
I love what him and Shannon do, and they are such amazing people so I figured why not get a tattoo of my favorite pedal of all time? And it is a one of a kind with a one of a kind paint job so for me it was a no brainer!

Hey ry you need to open a devotionals page and only put a picture of the tattoo and that paragraph on it and you're set.

My daughter had a simple one done a few months ago and she's a bigger wimp than I am, and she said basically the same thing...it could still happen for me. My big problem is that if I'm going to do this, I want it done RIGHT which won't be cheap, as I would like a traditional Japanese 1/4 sleeve on my left arm/shoulder.

Both my arms and both my legs and feet are covered and it's funny because I just was lucky enough to grow up with people who became the best artists around so I don't have to pay for my tattoos are they aren't crappy to boot. But if the pain is the only thing keeping you from getting inked go do it especially of you are thinking of doing it on the arm. The arms are really not bad at all save the under arm.

I'm not afraid of the pain (...much, but I'll suck it up and deal...), it's really more the price; I've been quoted at least $600 and upwards, spread over two or three sessions, for what I have in mind and these are from artists who were recommended as being both worth the prices they charge and fair in their pricing. That's not an insignificant sum for me right now.

that seems also like a reasonable price for what you want (if it's done by machine, not by the more traditional stick'n'poke -technique, which could go really high, depending on the artist). save up and go for it!


also, on topic: i'm GASing on a BDPG so much right now, but i'm not sure of how it would affect my tone on my tubeamp. is it worth it? probably is.
i'm kinda looking into replacing my sansamp paradriver, so it's probably either the BDPG and a good DI or a Mountainking Electronics' Behemoth II and a good DI.

I'm actually a lot more concerned on what's getting chopped. If it's the DD I might have to put an order in asap.
I kept my grey stache, I don't know what I was thinking anyway, GAS is a bit*h.
Seriously though, anyone debating on a muff clone should know I put this thing up against quite a few other muff based pedals and they all come up short in comparison.

Being double sleeved and having work all over my body, I can tell you ink definitely follows the addage "you get what you pay for". Unless of course you happen to have the hook up with a great artist or people owe you favors :D I've paid a $50 deposit now and again just to check out a new artist doing work on someone else to see if I like their work.

That said, prices vary WILDLY, as does talent, so don't be discouraged by potentially needing to shop around.

As for starting a Fuzzrocious ink club, I'm in! I just need to decide what the hell I'd get (and have Ryan's blessing of course).

That right there...if I do this, I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking at it with regret, or paying more to have it either corrected (if it could be done) or removed.

And one of the quotes actually IS something of an owed favor...a friend owes me a favor (not that I actually keep track of such normally...serious) and he suggested that a particular artist kinda/sorta owes him a favor, and pricing for mine might be under consideration as a way of balancing everyone's books.
