Put in an order for an OSD and a Heliotropic today. Very stoked. Re-doing my whole joint. The only pedal that remains from the old one is the Rattail. Well, and the tuner. All I know is I traded my terror 500 for a GenzBenz shuttle 6.0 and everything sounds better. It's unbelievable. I cant wait to get down on the Helio !!

What didn't you like about the Orange?

Jealous!

I snatched up one of the painted trems. I have wanted one forever but always ended up buying Ry's dirt pedals instead.

Unfortunately this means putting off buying a BDPG some more. And, I really want to pick up a Helio. I'm gonna try to swing some stuff around to raise funds...

Oh I hate to see these sorts of things, everyone deserves to have every pedal by Fuzzrocious as they are that awesome.

Also bought a Heliotropic just then which will arrive with my custom jammer. Best year ever.

I have an orange and rather dislike it as well due to how same it sounds no matter what you do as the eq sucks completely.

What Stretchhh said, exactly. There are slight variations in tone, but very slight. And while I did enjoy the tone when I first got the head, it got old fast. Today was my first day with my Genz, and like I said, it's got so many options, and they all sound good. The shuttle 6.0 are goin for like $350-$450 used and I can't recommend them enough.I hear the streamliners are great too, a little more expensive. My rattail sounded siiiiiiiccckk through the shuttle it today.
So yeah, for the longest time I blamed my chi-sonic's for the tones I couldn't get. How wrong I was.

I can see what you're saying. I tend to like the one sound it gets though. Haha. Plus it is louder than hell. I can definitely see it being replaced soon though if I find something else I like.

Verellen will probably make you sell the orange, that meat smoke is just killer. And I find you can't run effects nicely through the orange as well due to the tone getting muddy and I have tried it with several different cabs with the same result every time.

Ahh, Mike D, your getting the meatsmoke pre amp too? He has a good point. I got rid of my BDPG because the orange made it sound muddy and I didn't realize it was the orange. I wish I held out.

BTW, Mike, your up in Buffalo, do you know the band Summer People ? Brandon Musa is the bass player, he used to be in Fire When Ready. Great player, awesome band, he uses a Jazz into an SVT and really digs in. If you don't know summer people check em out. There are not that many new bands that I dig as much as them

I am lucky that the orange is just my practice amp and I run an amped svt-2 pro really clean so all my dirt comes from my pedals. You need to get a BDPG back as they are truly amazing amps.

I really just want to get a meatsmoke. I don't know if I'm ready to deal with tube amps though. Ugh decisions decisions

I would take a # if you're still taking new members

This bad boy arrived in the mailbox today.

Ryan Rules as does this Rat Tail.

My new 8 day old son is taking most of my time so I've only played 5 minutes
with the rat tail so far but it's sweet.
