I just plugged The Walking Delay in- when I press the switch down the pedal turns on but no delay goes on; it's just my regular tone. Did the guy sell me a dud? He said it worked; I'm going to contact him.

Yeah, I bought a 9 volt one spot. I have a monster cable going from my AD200B to the Walking Delay then another monster cable into my bass. It is lighting up, just no effect is occurring. The Craigslist ad disappeared, and the guy was selling a bunch of other stuff too, I found his number through paypal though.

Sounds like u have yer cables reversed Evan, yer bass should be
plugged into the input of the pedal and the output of the pedal should be running to yer amp

I switched the positions of the cables; I did it the way you told me too, unfortunately now, I just get no sound at all when I turn on the pedal.

Bass -> cable to right jack -> cable from left jack to input of head.

Contact your seller and either ship it back to him for a refund or just get your money back.

Yep, it doesn't work. Thanks for the help Ryan and Rory. I was looking for this thing for months; I hope I at least can get in contact with the seller and get my money back.

I also wouldn't even know where to start to fix the delay. They're really complicated and have a zillion area which could be suspect. Go for the refund and get your money back :(. Nothing sucks more than getting a dud pedal! My heart explodes whenever I get an email that something on a pedal has come loose in shipping!

For kicks, open that sucker up and take a look for loose wires. Did you pull out the expression eye?

You said they had bad post-build issues, I still wanted it haha. My guitarist opened it, and thought it was crazy looking haha. I showed him the wire, and he fixed that and another wire that was hanging. It sounds so cool though!

-- What are the other old fuzzro pedals? I know the walking delay and the pedal with the octopus on it.

That twd is like 3 years old. Waaaay old.
Old pedals were Green stache, mail order muff, munch the muffin, tremorlo, overdose, cuuurse, Octavus, wow wow, and ts el oso. All before we started our own pedals. Those were all GGG designs.

Headless - I think it was a Ibanez Analog Delay

Ryan - If i wanted to dabble around with making pedals, would buying a easy GGG project and trying it out be a good idea?

- I'm having so much fun with this delay; making it freak out always makes me smile
