Here is my late 90s LB-100 in honeyburst. It's a terrific bass.

I finally got around to performing the modification to my series/parallel switch and wired it parallel/SC OS/series. I'm very happy with the results. The SC OS wiring really cops the more 70's jazz tone and adds some very nice sizzle to the sound. Definitely improved the slap sound of the bass.

I'm amazed at how many variations of tone that I can get out of my L2500. I'm thinking that I'll primarily go with the passive SC or parallel most of the time. I just love the finger style tone.
