Understand that I'm not a tort hater, I have it on my JB. Personally, I think that white pearloid looks awesome with that sparkly purple.

Yes! Pulled the trigger. Looks and feels great. Sounds awesome too. Will send it to my favorite luthier when he gets done with my L2k. Want the action as low as it can go.
It originally had the tort pick guard, the changed to the white pearloid. I like it the way it is now.
I also have tort on my JB, but agree, the white pearloid looks better with the purple.

NOS simply means that the "deluxe gig bag" is "not otherwise specified". I suppose that means it's not a G&L, Fender, or otherwise branded gig bag, but you might request more info from the seller.
What a great looking JB! Mine is in vintage white, for that finish the tort sets it off perfectly.
I have a fretless Fender Jazz in the same color scheme as your JB. I like that a lot.

It states "New Old Stock" in the listing which is what NOS stands for and references the bass, not the gig bag.
I purchased a G&L Fullerton Deluxe Doheny guitar from this vendor three years ago. In my experience, you will get a quality product as advertised.

I purchased a G&L Fullerton Deluxe Doheny guitar from this vendor three years ago. In my experience, you will get a quality product as advertised.
Got this body from the G&L online store and the neck came from TB, got that logo from etsy. Tuners are also from the G&L store. I've installed a pair of Sims Superquad in it and had my local tech cut a control cavity cover for it. The routing is not perfectly done but worked out great for a G&L frankenbass.

I'm not a fan of the logo. It looks like what it is.
I feel like the output is slightly lower but it sounds great, worth a try!
