Do you guys use pedals with your G&Ls? If so what kinds? I have 3 from Boss (compressor, driver, chorus). The compressor and driver are great with my JB.
I'm slowly building my collection. Currently I have:
Fuzzhugger: Doom Bloom
Alexander Pedals: Luminous/Phaser From the Black Lagoon; DIEnaflanger Model 213th; Fever Pitch
Those cover pretty much everything. Especially the Fever Pitch as it has a good sounding reverb, decent delay, and some chorus and tremolo. A minimal amount of +12 semitones isn't really noticeable.
I have a Zoom A1X four, as well. That's for my "base sound" to more-or-less homogenize instruments with EQ etc. Also has a metronome, looper, and tuner. Usually adds just a touch of chorus to thicken the sound and slightest reverb so it doesn't sound so dull in headphones.
What's next is:
* Empress: Reverb; Echo station
* Source Audio: EQ2, Ultra Wave, C4 synth, filter, chorus/flanger, ...
* Flower Pedals: Sunflower Deluxe (tremolo)
* Red Panda Labs: Radius (ring mod)
* EHX: various letter+number synths. lol
* Native Audio something or other maybe?
Utility/CV controller stuff like:
* TWA: Side Step
* Pedalbrainz: Left Brain & Third Eye
* EHX: 8 Step Program
* Mastermind GT/22 MIDI controller. Might do a Pirate for now.
Yes, Strymon and Meris were runner ups. The Meris pitch shifter might be nice as well. I haven't decided but, that'll be the last purchase. Strymon does have a nice reverb so it's a toss up.
Pretty much everything listed is stereo i/o + MIDI.
Now ask me about my current and future rack mount gear and crazy ideas with Tuner multicoil pickups and onboard effects.
