G&L Club Part 7

Well it took me a while but I finally found a G&L I could actually hold in my hands and try out ......... didn't take long to decide one I did though, never found a Bass that fitted me so well - ticks every box I have and a few I hadn't even thought of.
$680Aud 2nd hand with a new set of strings thrown in.

My Jazz Dlxe 5 is hiding in the wardrobe.

Are there any No's left? : )

Ah, it's so lovely when someone finds a new love! When you get it, make sure the preamp works as advertised, then take out the battery and throw it away. Don't put another one in. Enjoy.:thumbsup:

Everything works just fine and I had thought I might end up doing just that before playing it, but when I got it home and played some along with some songs on my 'puter I started thinking again.
Hard Rock, Southern Rock, Aust Pub Rock, Blues, Ballads ect, ect there seems to be a setting and a great tone for everything.

I guess the best way to put it is that I think I've found the elusive voice in my head. This economy G&L leaves my American Jazz Dlx 5 way back in the rearveiw mirror,
and I finally have a B string that feels like a part of the whole and not an addon that requires a seperate, different touch to fit in.
