Stunning.

Ebony board? Or Rosewood??
Ebony and with vintage frets...
A little different for some, but my favorite combo.

As you should be... once we accessorize that bass with a Dresslily ensemble, you will be stage ready.
Lol :roflmao:
I'm going to be temping with a 70s style rock gig soon so...I can just imagine the clothes.

Lol
To be honest, I was asked if I could American made G&L what would it be.

This was my ideal specs for that bass.
CLF L-2500 (on the meatier side, high 9 side)
Frost black
Black headstock
Ash/Ebony
Vintage Frets
Gloss neck
SCM

I will be finishing a record after NAMM and about a 1/3 of it will be with this bass I'm sure (if it's as good the Tribby I have ;))

One of the track that I will use this bass on is 'open medium funk' tune, that goes into some pretty jazz changes to a busy Prog ending piece called "Lesbian Neck Tattoo".
I plan on dedicating that to the TalkBass G&L club on the recording.

I love it...I almost went Kiloton route since there is nothing like that being done by Mike Lull (out of respect). However the L-2500 is petty different as well.
I was able to bond a lot more with the L series over the M in general.

Well just met up with another bass brother, and made the trade, for the M2000,I mentioned in earlier post. Decent trade,he got what he wanted and I am pleased with the black burst M2000 Tribute, setup the way I prefer. Partial to the body bindings,on the G&L basses. Matching headstock sets if off,IMO.

Also like the burst finishes, although the cherry burst is my favorite. Neck is smooth,no fret spurs, and intonation right on! NBD
