Sweet!! Can I Join The Club??, I bought This backbreaker, used, almost 30 years ago,

L-2000 Series E, The only thing that resembled a serial # was stamped on the bridge, just under the strings, not sure if it's
the right one, but it's B006707, can someone identify the year from that?

Thanks, UnkaRick

I would be more than happy to allow that bass to break my back. Very sweet indeed.

What number we up to now?

SB-1.

Not sure of the year, but I know it was the last year for the SB-1. Custom order with t-burst, gunstock finish jazz spec neck, and turtle guard.

Wanted it to look like a vintage P.

Bye the bye, let me know if anyone out there has my blue swirl solid body ASAT w/maple neck. If you look in the neck pocket it has NAMM written on it. Tell her I miss her.:crying:

Thanks,

-Todd

Beautiful bass!
The G&L MFD P pickup can get much meaner than the Fender P, but roll the tone off, trim the volume a tad, and the nG&L does the Fender thing pretty well.

rawk!

This is 4Mal's L2500 Tribute that I'm buying from swpyne. 4Mal removed the original preamp and installed an Audere 3ZB. You can see there's a hole for the LED drilled next to the input jack. Each pickup also has its own series/single coil/parallel switch. It's coming to me on Friday and I can't wait!
