i use passive mode 90% of the time, so its hard to say...

What kind of battery life are you guys getting in your L2000/L2500s?

Mine lasts for several months. I don't even remember when I last changed it. Just make sure to always unplug your cable even when in passive mode. It'll still run the battery down otherwise.

After an agonising easter long weekend wait, it got here yesterday. I must say there is nothing about this bass that strikes me as cheap - it looks, feels and sounds solid in every detail. The finish is like a mirror compared to my ATK300 (I scrapped another photo I was going to use because you could clearly see a reflection of the rolled up carpet on the lawn outside!).

Looking forward to getting some new strings on it, winding those pickups down a touch (WAY too much output at the moment) & getting it setup the way I like it First practice is this friday, I don't know if it will beat my Thumb for heavy stuff but I'm sure going to give it a fair go!

I wonder where I can buy some spare pots, that is volume, bass and treble pots for one of my 1980/81 L1000's.

I am also looking for an original hard case for this bass.

G&G were the original suppliers. I think you can still get "similar" from dealers, but not same.
