I have three G&L basses; my L2000 I bought in the early '80s brand new (either in 1982 or 1983, I can't remember), a Tribute L2500 I got for stupid cheap last year, and number three is this incoming beauty:

The BABP LE 2, fretless ebony fingerboard.

Actually, all my G&Ls are black with dark fingerboards.

Finally, I can get a number.....

2 switches= Climax or L-1500
3 switches= L-2000

Sure the El Toro, Lynx, and first gen SB-2 had switches but they are pretty distinct otherwise, M,mkay?

Guys i'm going to turn all G&L I have a Fender American 2008 and still love my G&L Better, I'm going to sell my Fender, cant go wrong with G&L as allways, and I'm going to get another Asat bass baby, heck yea...
