It was time for G&L.
it' s a beauty, unsurpassed G&L finishes and quality. If it sounds just like my JB, it will be a winner.
I just don't understand all this talk and attention for headstocks, in general. This tendency, overwhelming in all boards across the universe, is present in some of my bandmates too. Last week one of them pointed at my G&L, saying it looked wierd compared to its Fender, and while he was saying this he gently touched his headstock in a way I will not forget, sadly...
Men, please, it's only a piece of wood. Yeah, it's an appendix, but unlike the ones of the human body, ok?
Quick question for JB owners: I want to try flatwounds on my JB4, and I would like to know if someone has already done this and what type/brand seems to suit best. I like DR steel rounds on it a lot, but I'm starting to desire a new flavour.
