G&L note consistency

Common attitude among "technophobe" musicians... The illustrations just show (in a clear way!) the dead spot phenomenon encountered by OP and countless other players. Do not dismiss the data just beacuse you do not grasp the information.

I'm not a technophobe. I have an associates degree in electronics technology, worked as an electronics tech for 15 years and a system administrator for almost 20. Technology is my career. I manage an IT department in the defense industry, so I've done pretty well with tech. But music is AURAL, not visual. It doesn't matter if it shows up on those graphs if you can't hear it.

I'm talking real world, not theoretical. In music, anything measurable electronically but too small to hear is meaningless.
