G&L TRIBUTE Club #1

Hey guys (and gals), here is the place to show off your Tribbys and share info about them. Indonesian? Korean? It's all good.

I will give numbers for those who want them. I will be #1. Here is my SB-2 Trib, just love this bass. I bought this from fellow TBer GaryLC who got it from fellow TBer CraigB. It may have also gone through a few other hands. Now for the porn:

I want! I'm going to come to your house and lick the back of the neck and the controls. Still want it?

Umm...yes, but now with restraining orders.:D

I got a great deal on this one...$300 off the normal street price. I think the online retailer had made a mistake in their ad and i just happened to stumble into it and ordered at exactly the right time. Another TB'er tried to get them to sell him one on the following Monday and was told they couldn't sell it for that price and that they never had.

I wasn't sure i like the thick neck when I first tried the L2500 Trib out in a local store, but I'm unlikely to ever get rid if it now. Just so easy on the hands to play this fattie.

Bass is solid, but not heavy. Just made my first minor adjustment to the trussrod in 14 months of ownership.

I'll play. For now anyway, as I think I'll be selling this one soon to fund a 5er with 19mm spacing.

I got this L2500 in probably 2004 not long after they came out with the Tributes. It's just a wonderful thing, I only wish it had wider spacing. I wont ask for a number since I might not have it much longer, just wanted to share :)
