I have a GK MBfusion 500. I am finding that it distorts a bit early. Just after 9:00 on the gain setting. I was just wondering if anyone can suggest some pre amp tubes that will keep most of the headroom without as much of the dirt.
Do you guys know where I can find the rubber feet screws for 1001 rb II? The website only has the feet...No Screws. Ughhh

Not being snarky, but is that graphic EQ a necessity? Honestly just wondering, because I have an old dBX 215 sitting around. If it's useful, I'd like to know about it.

They'll be replacing my two 115 Neo series 1s, the two 112s will weigh in at less then one of the 115s (115=62.5 lbs. vs 112= 30lbs.) so my rig will (including head) weigh in at 66.5 lbs. a much more manageable weight.

Just ordered a used GK RBH410 from Sam Ash in Columbus, OH for $450 to go with my 700RB-II yesterday. I need them to get a box to ship it in, and should be getting it on Wednesday. Super excited about it!
Called GK for screws and they said they are this kind.... WH-M4X8-M3S-BOLT-TR....Now I cant find these anywhere? Geez they couldn't give me 4 screws?

I had used it with my last rig and decided to go ahead and use it with my new head. It does add a little more control to the overall tone.
On a side note I am only the 4-10 neo when moving. The top cab is an old GK that I loaded with eminence deltalites. Two cabs for me anymore is overkill plus I don't want to move them.
No worries there.
The fan pulls air into the front grill (behind the GK logo) and blows out thru the top.
Be concerned with vibrations loosening parts or solder.
I'm not a hardware geek, so I don't know what the other numbers mean, but that's yer basic 4 mm metric machine screw, 8 mm long.
Bicycle shops and foreign car dealerships should have them out the wazoo.
My local True Value hardware stores carries these.
You just need to decide on the type and shape of the head.
Just a regular plated Grade 2 will be plenty strong enough although the stropnger grades (like grade 8) usually don't cost much more.
True value had metric machine screw 4 mm x 8 mm so well see if it works...that's all the box said...thx for help
The GK folks will definitely sell you parts if you need them, but they're also ace about just saying what size the part is if it's something as simple as a bolt, because most folks can buy them very inexpensively locally.
It just occurred to me that I have some of these.
If you have a problem sourcing locally , tell me how big the head is and if it's phillips, cap screw etc. and I'll mail them to you.
