I use an MB200 with one or two Ampeg 210AV cabs. It’s a loud little amp! Thinking about an MB500 just for the extra features.

Cool! I use my MB500 with two Eden EX110's and it really is a loud little tone monster. I can use one cab or two. Very versatile.

I saw a deal on an MB800 recently, but based on what the MB200 puts out, I can’t imagine needing an 800. Also I don’t have cabs that could handle it.

you need at least one cab to have parallel inputs, then daisy-chain that cab to the other. its just like parallel outputs on the head, so don't go below 4 ohms.

All of them in my experience. One might just need to be 1/4" and one SpeakOn if I'm not mistaken.

OK, so in the case of my MB200, I'd go Speakon to Cab 1, then 1/4in in Cab 1 to 1/4 in to Cab 2? That seems simple enough. I just need to get some cabs next!

Since the cable from the amp to the first cabinet carries the current for both cabinets it should be a Speakon.

Here's my first GK head. Sounded great for me for 10 years, then my guitar player friend bought it. I know it wasn't designed for guitar but he was wicked good and made it scream (with his analog effects and 4x12 cab).

I love all my old designs, they bring back great memories, like old friends. I am proud of every one of them because they are a reflection of the very best that could be done.

Hi Jeff -this is the 1st GK amplifier I bought.

The tone these produced was so incredible at the time.

I still have mine and use it as practice amp with one of the bands I play with.

I have never had an issue with it.

Rock solid. My guitar player friend (who used it) more than kept up with his lead player who had an all-tube old Mesa head and a pair of 412's stacked. He seemed kinda perturbed that my friend was just as loud as him with only one 412. LOL

lol. Found a way to use the 8-ohm amp on the 800rb too.

Though 3 seems a bit excessive.

Hi everyone. My Fusion 550 turned off on me and won't turn back on. I suspect it will just be a blown fuse, but I have no idea where it is. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

If the fuse blew it has to go to a service center.

Hey GK gang! I picked up a 1001 yesterday on a trade. I had one maybe 10 years ago and I liked it a lot but... then I saw other shiny amp things. I should have just kept it because I bought and sold a lot of stuff since then just to come back to what I already had a decade ago. I didn't really forget how good it sounds, but it was a refreshing reminder to have one again.
