I've been using Radio Shack lube/cleaner for years with excellent results. Thanks for validating me Steve!
So should I lean the amp back or anything to make sure it gets in there, or just spray it like normal?
Lay the amp on its back, remove knobs and spray down from the front. That stuff is way too messy to spray inside IME.
Hey GK guys, I'd like some advice. I need a new amp and I am leaning towards GK. Sweetwater is offereing 24 months no interest on the GK's, so I have to jump on that deal. The MB110 (1x10, 100 watts) is $349. The MB112 (1x12 200 watts) is $399. Any reason not to spend the extra $50 for the MB112. FWIW, I am just a bedroom player, but am practicing with the goal of jamming with friends and maybe doing some gigs.

Spend the extra $50 for a larger cone and double the wattage. Easy.
They pull off, a butter knife on each side if you have trouble.

You won't regret more speaker and more amp power when the time comes, you will regret less!
Pull the caps off the top of the knobs; I don't think they are held on with screws, but I'm not sure. They should just pull off.
The best way to get the spray in there is to get access to the back of the amp and spray directly into the pots where the gap is on the side (where they solder onto the board). I've not had any problems with the spray getting on other components.
Mine made a sort of "tunnel". It ran the face of the amp and covered the rear of the pots. I couldn't get to the rear of the pots themselves. Maybe I'm not seeing something right. Do I spray down the "tunnel", or is there a way to access each pot individually?
I've not played a Bergantino, but I used my NEO 112/700RB for small gig, and it was slammin'! I had no idea a 112 could get that loud. I couldn't use it, alone, for full band gigs, but it more than held up for a semi-acoustic show gig. What are you doing with your gain and drive knobs & EQ? I like CLEAN, so I run gain between 7-9 and set my master 2-4(depends on the gig. Gain at 9p and master at 4p is LOUD! I usually like 7p/2p for most gigs)

Didn't think so! I actually planned on just selling the 115 RBH & cutting my costs down for just the 700RB II amp... until the NEO vs Ceramic shootout
Both in biamp with tweeter at noon
Winner in a LANDSLIDE
The 115 RBH. MUCH deeper better sounding low end and surprisingly the tweeter\ high end sparkle too. I just liked the RBH much better. I ran my Big Al with flat EQ & pretty much flat on the amp too. Obviously the improved porting & probably more ideal box dimensions help. I didn't expect it to be so significant but it was. Its heavy though at 66 lbs vs the NEO 115 at 40 lbs so sadly I wont be gigging with the RBH (I know I haul a GK NEO 412 everywhere haha). I'm really going to like having the RBH at the practice space vs the awful Peavey TKO 115!
The 700RB is an aggressive amp, more aggressive than the 1001RB I just had if I recall correctly. Its a total beast & 480w + 50w of horn feels like WAY more than enough & pretty damn close to my 900w Shuttlemax, go figure.
But could you pass ALL this up for $300 with a cover!?

I recently saw a shootout video of the 115 Neo and a fearlful 112.. The Neo 115 sounded boxy to the Fearful.. Sounded good .. But still a bit boxy...
I used a few of teh 115 RBH ceramics on backline gigs that you show and i thought they actually sounded pretty good too..

Guess I am joining the club. I ordered the MB112 yesterday from Sweetwater. I almost bought it outright, but decided to put it on my interest free account considering Christmas is coming and I like to be generous with my wife and kids. That $400 could come in handy for some shopping.
Bad news is that Sweetwater called me almost immediately and said it is back-ordered for about 10 days. I am ok with that as the next few days are going to really busy with Thanksgiving. The delay certainly does not have me second-guessing my choice. I am very excited to have it coming to me.
Anyways, I'll post up some pics of my rig when it gets in.

Ive been on the hunt for a 212.. Or Two 112s lately... I spoke with my friend here on TB and he gave some real good advice.. And I trust his word...
The only concern i have with the GK 212 neo is i wonder if it is a boomy low mid bass or a real nice deep and round low ?
I was knocking around the idea of a Possible Bergantino HD212 too.. I tend to like Ceramic speakers for some reason. I gravitate towards them..
but i have heard good reports from people on teh old Genz Neox 212 too.. I know its Neo.
Then there is EA..
Like i told my friend, im kicking tires right now...and getting some things in line...
