Gallien Krueger Club. GK Rules !

@Nine-and-three-Quarters

…and here's your answer, direct from GK:

"These were in certification way longer than expected so it's been a moving target up to now. However, they were just approved but it held up the parts ordering just in case a change was required that would make them unusable or needing modification. We are projecting the first units will go into production in December, which is what Sweetwater have on their site. Being the first run, it will not go as fast as a current model so it is likely they will be begin landing at dealers in January. All orders will be filled in the order we received them so anybody that got them on order early will get priority. "

Who gives customer service responses on a Sunday at 8am?

This just makes their amps and cabs sound a little bit better in my ears..

Played a super fun show at Century in Philadelphia last night. Best house bass rig ever!

I'm not sure about that. All I know is they've changed the date a few times ever since ordering from SW. I believe they are waiting on parts and who know they may be coming from overseas.
The way foreign parts manufacturing and global supply chains are operating, it's like trying to predict the next catastrophic stock market collapse.

I'm tired of taking this in
But nothing sounds like it
These sound great don't they? I recently picked up a used MB Fusion 800 at GC online and it worked for a while but it started crapping out (low volume, crackly and hissy). For me it was in the power section as plugging straight into the effects return had the same issue.

Anyway, I had to return it but I wished it would have worked out. Very neat tone and feel, and different from other GK amps IMO. Not too crazy about the controls but I could've gotten used to it.

I love it
I just found the mb fusion had more depth to the sound that Gk already has

I run with my bass at 1:00 2:00
Low mids 1:30
High mid 1:00
Treble 11:00

Contour off or sometimes just to 8:00 or rather from 0 -10. I run it on 2 or 3
Just to remove some gankyness

I like having a matching GK rig for my neo 2x12s

I'm hoping GK has somthing coming
I know everyone wants a "lead sled" but that's for my home rig and personally the legacy wasn't it for me

gk MB FUSION 500 in for repair yet again
Preamp noise yet again

Company who repaired it last stripped at screw
And scratchy pots

All I want is just a new preamp board and new pots
I'm tired of taking this in
But nothing sounds like it
Ever consider sending directly to GK to get repaired?

I bought a used fusion 800s and it was getting a little weird. A low hiss, crackle for the first hour of playing. I sent it to GK directly. They were able to emulate the issue, but not isolate it. They replaced virtually everything but the power section and sent it back, $333 all in. Been working perfectly ever since.

In the recent past, GK had done warranty work only - haven't checked lately, thank goodness. They do have a network of service techs. Best suggestion might be to check here for recommendations in your area. Jason Finley ([email protected]) is good to check with - hopefully he can direct you how to proceed.
