NEO IV 212 and a NEO IV 112 with a Fusion 800S. My foray back to using a GK amp since I had a 1001rb II many years back. I picked up the Fusion head in a trade. I already had the 212 which I was powering with a Mesa WD800. Sold the Mesa head and picked up the single 12 cab to give me a smaller footprint yet still powerful rig that I could transport easily. So far I'm happy with the rig but still experimenting with various settings. This amp has a lot of available top end and IMO the tube overdrive circuit can get away from you quickly if you're not careful. Really nice amp with a ton of features.
Yeah, my 4 ohm 212 lets me get all the power out of my heads, almost too much power than I need for some places we play, especially the Ashdown. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Now the 8 ohm 210, is still a huge sounding little cab and gives me some space on the master knob to turn.
I got my 800s for a good price, but it gets a little "static-ey" and will randomly cut out briefly for the first 30-45 minutes when played at low to moderate volume. It seems to go away after it's been on for awhile, but I sent it to GK to have them check it out. I hope the problem presents itself to them and they solve it, I really like that little amp.

I picked up mine in a trade and I don't know how long the original owner had it. But so far the longest I have played it is about 30 minutes at moderate volume and I had no issues. The top of it gets a little warm which is to be expected because the top actually sets against the heatsinks inside so naturally it will feel warm. I have yet to have the fans kick on but I understand they only come on when the amp reaches is a certain temperature.
My 212 cabinet is also the 4 ohm version so I can get the full wattage out of the Fusion 800 S. Even with just the single 12 cabinet at 8 ohms it's plenty loud enough easily able to handle just about any gig. If somebody told me someday I might be doing a gig with only a single 12-in speaker I would have laughed. But not anymore the times they are a changin. Luckily the amp can handle the the 4 ohm + 8 ohm combination As well as just about any combination of cabinets. One of the things that I really like about it is that it has a lot of low end punch available. So far pretty happy. And I really like the aesthetics much better with the black grilles far better than the big silver grilles they used to use.
I kind of do the same but with a Neo 112ii and Neo 212ii and a 700RBii
Almost 3am here but I just got done stuffing some Polyfill I got at Wal Mart in the crafts section into my GK Neo 112ii and 212ii. All I have to say is "Wow!" It went from good to great! They both sound fuller and beefier than before. Just a $5 bag of polyfill, a screwdriver , and some patience will get you some better sounding cabs. Ported as well!
I'm not an expert, but if the polyfill slows the air down a little, they might be tuned a little lower now. And, if it's a little restrictive to air flow, the rolloff might be a little more gradual (instead of staying high for as long as possible then falling more quickly. I don't like hearing that transition in most ported cabs).

What does that do? Does it knock out a little of that mid nasally mid sound. Do you pack the whole thing?
It did that and removed some of that boxiness. I didn't stuff the whole thing but just enough to make a tighter sound.
I've been slowly building up my GK rig. Picked up a really clean 700RB-II last year, a 8 Ohm Neo 212 in the spring, and now a 4 Ohm Neo 410. (No, I'm not running both cabinets at the same time)
I took the 410 outside to give it a good test, it was impressively loud. I hauled the 212 out for the photo. I need to get the rest of the rack ears and pedalboard together to make a stereo rig (one clean and one grit). One piece at a time...

After having some regrets over selling my MB Fusion 500 I managed to alleviate most of it after stumbling across a MB500 in a second hand store, it was cheap too, I could not whip out my credit card fast enough.
This is my forth GK amp, first impressions are excellent, what surprised me is how easy it is to get a smooth slightly overdriven tone with the MB500, more-so than the Fusion or my old 1001rb-II. The gain and boost work very well for that, I really like this amp.

Does anyone have a heads up on whats taking so long for the new RB legacy heads to come out? I ordered one months ago from Sweetwater but the date just keeps changing! Are they having problems building them?
Have you called your rep at Sweetwater? Asking them to check with GK and see what the holdup is? It could be something as simple as they're not getting the amount of orders they wish they would so they're holding off production until they have enough orders to make it worthwhile for them to run a batch. Or possibly they're having component sourcing issues. What with tariffs being thrown around back and forth so much now. Maybe the standard legacy series would work for you? I've got the fusion 800s running a neo Iv 212 and a neo IV single 12 and that thing is a real beast. With PA support so easily available everywhere nowadays. I can't see needing anything more than that ever. Although there is one thing to remember and that's that old saying that goes. Good things come to those who wait. But how long are you going to have to wait?
8 ohm 210 with a Mesa D800+ is my gig rig. Love this little setup.

Yes they don't know. All they can say is that the date got pushed back. Never any details! I was hoping someone here had better insight.

I have had a direct line to GK for the past few weeks. I sent my 800s in because it was giving me some static and cutting out when I would first start playing it, mostly at lower volumes. It would seems to go away and work fine after leaving it on for an hour or so. I was almost going to just live with it, but instead I sent in the form and was contacted directly. Luckily, they were able to replicate the problem. They replaced all the components except the power amp, and so now I'll have a virtually new 800s with the current rev boards.
All that is to say, I'll ask the guy I have been communicating with and see what, if anything, he has to say.
