Yeah, i'm replying to my own question, but I found the amps on Sweetwater and the 1001RB is the same size as the 2001RB. 25 lbs versus 40 lbs.

I'd go for a 700RBii for $400 on the used market. That's the classic GK sound, I don't know if they can really improve on it anyways.

I started on GK. I've played on all kinds of stuff, but always come back to it.

I've still got a 700RB-ii, 800RB, and my OG backline 1x10 combo.

I don't have much use for an amp this size these days, but even just using it as a studio preamp with the built in cab sim seems to sound great based on the samples on the site.

I'll definitely be keeping this on my radar

I would love a reissued or updated Fusion…. So hard to find these days and seems they held value great haha.

I’ve got an old Gk 400rb built in 1986, still going strong, and it’s a wonderful sounding amp !

I want to say they are for me but I’d be lying. I want this. Seems perfect for high power bridged as well as rails tones at every other ohm not bridged. I’m seriously contemplating moving at least 1 if not 2 of my 700 and 1001rbii amps to give this a home among the remaining one each lol.
