Lol, i read that as 'meat at sundown'. Sounds like a pornsite that way
we make jokes at our guitarist's expense constantly. one of them is he also plays guitar in Meat At Sundown.
I always turn off graphics effects in Bioware games, I feel like it makes it more gritty.
ME2 with the ME3 combat system would be pretty much the perfect game. I do think in ME3 the characters felt more "alive" in that they actually would talk to each other and stuff. I look at the running through hallways thing added a sense or urgency to the game. No more screwing around scanning planets or going on random drives, there's a global war on to worry about.
So yeah, just beat ME3. That ending, well...
Plot holes, circular logic, deus ex machina, and throwing all your previous decisions out the window. I'm not outraged, just disappointed.

rFactor is bordering on 8 years! Nothing wrong with hitting up older games, I still play through Half Life every year to 18 months. Recently been playing Race Driver : GRID, which isn't a spring chicken anymore!
I like the mod s available for rfactor, you can race sooo many types of cars at such a diverse assortment of real world tracks.
I would never ever be able to run an F1 car at Spa in real life, and this game/ sim gets it close enough for me, including nailing Eau Rouge!

Absoluetly disgusting amounts of SC2 (HOTS) these days.. and of course NHL 13.. While it's not that great of a game.. It's hockey..
As I've just gotten into PC gaming, I've noticed a large amount of games now that are "free to play". World of Tanks, Blacklight Retribution...and there are alot more.
Do you guys play any of these? Are they free to play but "pay to win" like I'm hearing?

It really depends on the individual game, though they tend to be very playable for free users, even with the pay-to-use markets attached.
I'd just install Steam and look at all the free offerings and go for whatever ones strike your fancy (I quite want to give Planetside 2 a go).
Team Fortress 2 is good fun too.
Also, if you get Steam, Portal & Portal 2 are on sale right now (75% off, even cheaper if you get them bundled together) and brilliant games even at full price!
Yeah, I installed stream...its cool but why don't the users rate the games? Weird there is no system to do that.

Just got Psychonauts via Xbox Live and loving it. Gameplay is decent but the writing is where this game really shines, often times feeling like I'm playing through a 90's style cartoon along the lines of Rocko's Modern Life or something. Definitely happy I finally picked this gem up.
Tends to be because most games aren't for everyone and everybody rates game extremely subjectively, so you get a whole bunch of 12 year old kids who don't "get" strategy games rating them waaay down because "4X super space exploration and micromanagement" it's not as good as Call of Duty Blackops or it's "too confusing". Then you get a whole brand/game loyalty thing, where a bunch of people who rate play CoD rating BF:3 as a 1/10, and vise versa because "BF sux go play a reel game like cod."
So yeah, it ends up being pretty useless on a whole really, and doesn't give you any indication of how good the actual game is. Even when you read game reviews, by professional game reviewers, more often than not they suffer from extreme bias, to the point where I personally trust the marketing spiels to give me a better and more objective opinion. At least I know what I'm getting is a sale pitch and I can take it with a grain of salt.
It would be nice if people could review game for what they are intended to do, what they set out to accomplish and how well they met those goals, rather than pitting them in an open field and making blaze comparisons. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case though
