Man, why can BF3 play like BFBC2 on the PC? I've been logging plenty of time on BF3 and either the guns or hit detection is bad for me. Then I load up BFBC2 and it plays like a dream... So glad there are actually people still playing!
I have gotten started on Saints Row the third since the last HB and a bunch of other games I haven't tried yet.
I got Dead Island as well but I am terrible at horror-survival games, I freak out too much and run towards light every time!
Yea, for some reason (probably because it was buried under the crushed dreams of millions of gamers, and was therefore unreachable by DICE) the hit detection in BF3 hasn't ever been that great. Fortunately, from my experience in BF4's alpha, things are much better.
Really? That's good news! I told myself I shouldn't bother with BF4 but if improves or even plays similar to BFBC2 then I'll be happy
I was rather good at BF3 on the 360 though. Maybe its just a pc thing?
Could be, I don't have a console, so I have no experience with it on those platforms. Battlefield 4 is, imo, what BF3 should have been, instead of the weirder, dumbed down version of Battlefield to compete with CoD. The return of Commander mode, slightly larger squads (5 instead of 4), dynamic squad perks that reward squad play, more advanced naval action (instead of those mostly useless Rhib Boats), changes to suppression, and other such things all make me very excited about BF4.
I agree Bad Company doesn't play like a regular Battlefield game but it certainly was different from COD. And I did see that COD vibe in BF3.
BF3 can be good at times but either Everyone has God Mode turned on or I am really bad at keeping a steady aim.
I love BF3 (no noticable hit detection issues, bar a few early teething problems on console), but I have to agree, it didn't feel like a Battlefield game (and I don't really count Bad Company as a regular BF game line).
BF4 looks like it's going to be epic. So glad they brought back commander mode and that the consoles will support 64 players, not the CoD-esque 24 (that does not a Battlefield game make!).

BORDERLANDS 2! I like, I like it a lot.
I think you both misunderstood! I was just agreeing with sloasdaylight about BF3 being geared towards COD fans.
But it seems we all agree that BFBC is not similar to COD lol
I am looking forward to BF4 now. I haven't kept up with any updates or heard about the Alpha tests. I don't even have Premium for BF3!
Anyway, I sent you a friend request , my PC tag is CaptainDiabeetus (don't laugh at my stats...)
Have you tried the DLC? I finished the main line for Tiny Tina's D&D content and it was a blast. Need to be close to lvl 30 tho; I first went in at lvl 22 and got pwned big time.
Plugged the computer and I'm updating Bf3 as I write this. Who wants to play?
