GAS Issues please help

I would LOVE some opinions......

Played a Musicman 25th anniversary 5 string and 4 string yesterday...LOVED IT... Now I want it...But it'll take about 8 months to save for it.. No biggie..(Retail $2600 - ouch). Yet its a dream bass..

BUT...

Have a friend who works at ESP and can get me a bass 60% off retail...

heres what I was looking at as far as ESP (any opinions on ESP in regards to their basses?)

AND

I also played a Lakland 5502 yesterday..LOVE IT..

Obviously, I can only have one of these. I already own a musicman sterling 4H and stingray 4H.. I Want to get an awesome 5 string HH..

What would u do?!!!:help::help::help:

Go with the 25th, its your "dream bass", 8 months from now you'll be gushing about how great she is on this same forum, if you don't you'll be kickin yourself in the butt forever, how many times will you get to live out a "dream" in your lifetime? Go for it!!! and don't forget to post some pics, esp. one with that silly lookin grin that will never come off your face every time you open the case. lol.

If you love the 55-02 then there's the one you should go with. They are great sounding, playing, and very well constructed basses.

Also, if you love the Stingray then you should go with that. They have been found in every genre so they are quite versatile and they too are well constructed.

IMO, you can't really go wrong with either of these two basses. If cost is a deciding factor then the 55-02 is the obvious choice.

GAS? I'm with you man. Wish they made some "Bass-O" like "Beano". There's always something right? If you can't find a new one, you can always get another of your fave style. I'm sitting here looking at a rack of 9 P style basses that I can grab and play. Yet I still need...P's....God help us!
