Gas no none nada

I recently found myself in the same boat! I had this weekly gig for over 10 years and in January, they pulled the plug. Without that, I had no GAS at all for the first time ever and it lasted through February and March. I even sold off some pedals that hadn't been used in a while... Yesterday, we got the call that they want to bring us back in April. Woke up this morning and I could feel the GAS creeping in.

No band, no gigs and no gas. First time in 50 odd years.

Should I see a doctor.
Too late. You're bleeding demised….

Seriously, at age 72 gigs have dried up, maybe 4 to 6 per year with some old buds in another state, a few recording sessions equaling about an LP worth of material, and 6-8 band jams a year still keeps my head in the game and something forward looking on the calendar.

That said, I know my time as a player is going to end, and other than family, an interest in sports (all my favorite teams suck at the moment), I’m not sure what I’m going to do when my playing days are over.

In terms of a TalkBass bass player..............a good thing.
