A. I don't need that much power!

B. I already have a perfectly good tube amp head & two combo amps.

Convince me not to buy it!

BTW, I'm drinking beer, so it can only get worse (the desire to buy it).

You might as well get a Marshal like your buddy Lemmy.

If you're Long Hammered... You shouldn't buy anything.

This is one of the reasons I got a Bronco, when I hanker for a new amp, I just dial a different one up (though these days into a different cab).
Though I'm not yet bored with the Rumble 150 w/410 cab...

There isn't anything wrong with them, but GAS doesn't care about that, LOL!

I went the exact opposite to Lemmy's setup. He uses a bass head into guitar cabinets.
I'm using a guitar amp into a bass cabinet.

The first time I plugged in to that and played Ace of Spades with some overdrive, I was very pleased.

Higher alcohol content does not equate to better. I tried some of the higher ABV stuff, when I first got back from living abroad, and I don't really like them.
On the other hand, I can't drink light beer after living overseas. It is akin to water.

What is it you are gassing for? Maybe we can better target our discouragment.

A class D amp with a tube pre-amp.

I thought about it again, around 1am, but then I reminded myself how loud my 18 watt tube amp was yesterday evening. So, I decided I don't need a stupid powerful amp.

If it makes you feel better, I sort of want a "real" bass amp, but can't convince myself I need anything more than 5 watts of guitar head utility. I get where you're coming from.
