I usually build my boards from scratch to meet my needs, however for a new project i'm involved in I was thinking about using a pre-made board this time around..

anybody here using one of these in the wild? if so thoughts?

First time seeing that Gig Box 2. Gotta say it's overkill for my needs but a brilliant idea nonetheless.

IKR.... wheels, storage, lid that turns into a built in stand!!!

haven't seen one in person, these boards are aluminum so they should be light, kinda like the design a little better than the pedaltrain design..

Nobody is rocking one?

Look interesting, but the things that would probably bother me are the complete lack of padding (I guess you can add a large piece of foam to go over the pedals?), whether there's a place put a decent PS under it, and also, it looks like the board itself is too flimsy, so they had to add plastic supports protruding from the underside of the case - a reasonable solution mechanically, but how do you get all the wires to stay in the right crevices when you tilt the board down back in place?

on the gig box 2 the underside of the board is hollow (Aluminum surface over a molded box) allowing for storage and placement of power supply as well as cable management....

Damn! pretty cool, but also overkill. I'd still have to carry all my basses in cases to the gig but I wouldn't mind one of these for home use. $250 though,... damn

I have one of those green aluminum ones, like it a lot, I also checked out the gig box 2 at the NAAM show, it's very large and the surface that the pedals sit on was somewhat flexible, didn't feel great under foot.

is there room for a DC Brick/Power Supply under your board?

Yes ample room for power underneath with a clamp for power supply that works well, bag seems to be decent quality with a large zippered pocket inside that's good for setlists etc..
