GB Shuttle 6.0 VS Markbass LM

There's a zillion threads on this....

But I've owned both and prefer the LMII. Its noticeably louder and sounds warmer. The VLE knob is to die for. The shuttle is a little light in the lows, but has better features than the LMII, such as mute switch, headphone jack etc.

Both great amps, but after trying/owning numerous amps the LMII just works best for me. Great, great tone, light, powerful, and versatile.

I made the comparison between the Shuttle 6 and LMT both before and after purchase (using a friend's LMT). I'm quite satisfied with Shuttle.

The LMT had too much "warmth" for my situation, that is it was muddy when boosted that much, so I don't need it anyway. Truth be told the Shuttle also goes too deep for my set up but it's more defined in the lows I do use. Also I'm not a fan of the sub-miniture tube setup in the LMT.

Besides, I found I can muffle the sound through the Shuttle 6 by turning down the tone knob on my passive bass so it sounds very much like my friend's LMT.
