I'm bumping this old thread given all the recent talk over the TC stuff. Did BGM ever re-test this head after they dialed in their methods?

Yes, but we have not officially published the results just yet.

Kinda, yeah. Not that I'm trying to mess with anyone, but there will be a point in time when we release official retest results from issue #1, but that time is not now.

Perhaps BGM's revised bench test of the GBE1200 with come at the same time as the reports on the other, newer, GB products.....

No. We are going to do it in the context of revisiting all of the issue #1 amplifier tests, not in any G-B specific scenario.
