Geddy Lee Jazz feel.

Hey there,

I recently bought a Geddy Lee Jazz bass, and overall it's an amazing bass. I've read multiple reviews on the internet saying that the bass is really easy to play, however I find it more difficult than the standard jazz that I used to play regularly. Does anyone know if the frets are spaced farther apart or something on the Geddy Lee than the standard jazz? I'm wondering if this is just a matter of getting used to a different bass.

I thought the fret wire was thicker or possibly jumbo fret wire? - they looked that way to me. The neck was skinnier than my HW1 jazz. I did not like the feel of the neck (felt like too much finish) and I ended up selling mine.

It's the best Jazz I've played, at least for my hands. I love the neck.

Depending in your hand size and playing style, you might be more comfortable on a thicker neck. Some people can't stand the thinness of the neck.

The frets are Medium jumbo.^

My experiences on the neck are mostly positive, even though my hands are somewhat massive. It just feels like I have full control over the fretboard. I also get along with thicker necks, which may be a bit more ergonomic for me but... Its a matter of preference
