Geddy Lee Sansamp Pedal!

Thanks

Was the level of drive set high ?

About one o clock: the blend between Deep and Drive was around 11 o clock: my actual settings are in the photo on the playlist.

Suffice to say, there is significantly more drive available if you’re looking for it.

Nice Thank you
The body of the original bass tone was still here . Good job for the equality of volumes between clean and YYZ'ed !

I think I will like mine with less drive
How does it sound with a low drive level ?,
Like a close to break up tube amp , not yet saturated ?

Hmm I think I will ne using mine + a behringer BDI-21.
This last one has a super great tone for the ATTACK and transcients and is super midscooped. But it has not a great drive tone.

Currently I am using it mixed with my clean tone.

Hoping using it mixed with YYZ to combine what we know and love of the YYZ + the nice attack bite of BDI.
I am generaly not quite fan of how drive compress the attack ( logical ) so my idea sounds OK.

Nice powerfull bass clarity, body of the bass tone with YYZ
Super Nice drive tone with YYZ
Nice aggro attack of the BDI

That’s what I used it for on this recent pop gig: the MD called the tone “inspiring”, so I think it was pretty good ;)

More and more of these seem to be getting spotted in the wild.
Are we near a firm launch date yet?
"mid/late Spring" seems a bit meh given it's now end of April.
Latest word is June.

Yes in Thomann, biggest music reseller in Europe, it is annonced 21 june.

Funny because in France it is the date of the " Fête de la musique " when lot of bands play outside in the street, bars, etc, day and evening . Cool event to discover locals.

I will discover nothing because I will be noodling in the dark at home with the YYZ !

That's a funny(and very true for us enthusiasts) statement.

Anytime a new Darkglass or Tech21 pedal has arrived at my house, I get sort of frantic. I can compare it to finding some sources of media in my mid teens but that would't be appropriate here.

On the Tech21 Facecrack page a nice pic of YYZ's on pallets ready to go out for distribution.
Might just be that picture? but this first production run of the pedals looks more blue than green!
Either way, they are getting closer to hitting the shops.:hyper:

Not gonna lie. I'm kind of turned on right now. Is that wrong? It feels wrong. Gear porn!

Can't rule out a color change but it's far more likely that the tint was changed by the camera's image enhancement, or the lighting in the warehouse, or some other factor (or combination of factors).

I've got a dozen dirt pedals I love but somehow I still have YYZ GAS (sigh).
