gene simmons cort bass

Quite the reverse - you need to move the strap button about 1-2" from the neck joint towards the blade. Also moving the tail button up to the left hand curve of the butt of the bass will help it balance almost vertically. I had built a custom axe and found those to be the ideal locations for absolutely no neck dive.

all that matters is that in playing position, the closer the neck-side button is towards the headstock as measured strictly horizontally (i.e., regardless of how low or high it sits on the bass, like you were going by a yardstick laying on the floor under the bass) the less neck-dive.

if that marked location puts the button horizontally closer to the neck than having it at the end of the top horn (meaning if the bass is held up at a pretty steep angle), it could work, i guess.

+1 to moving the back button forward a little, for the same reason.

and here's why;

if you move the strap button from the back to the tip of the upper horn, it should balance better.
C'mon fellas how many basses have neck dive.......heaps do so lets just say its like most basses.
The Punisher also has neck dive what do you do ?
They sound good & feel great to play.The necks are nice & chunky.After playing a Fender Lyte bass for years its nice to feel something more solid.The Lytes might have the thinnest necks ever & have a mind of their own.
Both Corts are made from Canadian Rock Maple for the neck.They are also finished painted black.

Wow that Axe looks nice ! Are you using Mahogany with Maple ?
I quess the neck dive is something that goes along with nice basses.

Ugliest bass ever, and Gene sucks... as a person, not a bass player.
As Dio said "Gene invented everything... Breathing, shoes."

^^^^Why must you post this^^^^
You have the right to your opinion, but you went beyond your opinion of the bass and bashed a guy that you probably do not even personaly know. Regardless of what you hear or see on tv!! As much as I like DIO, you are only taking one side of there little fit as fact! :rollno::scowl:
