Gene Simmons & his new sound

G`day fellow Bassists,
Just wanted to see if anybody has heard Genes Growly bass sound on `Sonic Boom ? To me the sound is over the moon, heaps of growl.I went through most of the other Kiss cds to hear the bass but this is his best sound his had `imo.
What da ya think bassists ?

i think it sounds very much like the sound on the first 3 kiss albums. good stuff.

Know what you mean. I particulary like "Never Enough" and "Hot and Cold"..

Yeah I had read reviews that they were looking to get back to the root sound they had in the early 70's that growl is classic Kiss Hotter than Hell, Dress to Kill album sound Sonic Boom is killer
